WcW NeWz Only
Nitro REPORT: A night of twists and surprises, Nitro fans learned many interesting an unnerving things during the live 3-hour broadcast. Ric Flair brought former Horseman Barry Windham back into WCW; a video message from Judy Bagwell revealed that she had been attacked by Scott Steiner; Hollywood Hogan brought out his own version of a bowing Presidential intern, and the LWO gained their most impressive member to date: Rey Mysterio, Jr. (see match results).

But all these surprises seemed insignificant when Bam Bam Bigelow entered the building...(see match results)

Match Results
Juventud Guerrera d. Kidman
Cruiserweight Title Match
Perhaps, the best bout in their Nitro history, Kidman and Guerrera fought their greatest match to date, with countless high-risk maneuvers, counters and almost a dozen near-falls. Guerrera finally overcame his opponent with the 450 Splash.

Wrath d. Raven with Kanyon
Pre-match, Raven sat in the corner and spoke of his childhood to a chorus of arena boos. He then said he refused to wrestle, despite Kanyon's pleading. When Kanyon tried to ask his famous question, Wrath leveled the Raven crony with a lariat and The Meltdown.

Glacier vs. Kanyon
Glacier came down immediately after Wrath had squashed Kanyon. During his entrance, Wrath returned, pulled Glacier off-the-top, and delivered a second Meltdown. Neither Glacier or Kanyon seemed able to wrestle, but both competitors managed to struggle through their scheduled match. Kanyon won with The Flatliner, before collapsing from exhaustion.

Sonny Onoo d. Kaz Hayashi
Onoo, the famous manager-Olympic Karate fighter, appeared to have set up this match to show the American fans that he was WCW's greatest Japanese wrestler. But instead of facing a masked jebronie, Onoo soon realized he was facing Kaz Hayashi, the young superstar he'd been taunting for the past few months. Onoo ran into the arms of the referee to avoid his opponent, giving The Cat an opportunity to spin kick Hayashi into la-la land. Onoo got the pin, and further ridiculed the young grappler.

Stevie Ray and Horace with Vincent d. Dean Malenko and Steve McMichael with Arn Anderson
Despite their size advantage, Mongo and Malenko dominated the thuggish NWO tag team with a combination of technical savvy and grid-iron force. Interference from Vincent distracted both Anderson and the referee, allowing Big Heat to clobber McMichael with a blackjack. Before the black-and-white could secure the pin, Anderson cleared the ring with a tire iron, but caused a disqualification.

Eddie Guerrero with Art Flores d. Rey Mysterio, Jr.
In an effort to have Eddie leave him alone, Mysterio agreed to an unholy stipulation: If Mysterio loses, he would have to join the Latino World Order (if Mysterio won, he'd would never be bothered again). The match went back-and-forth, but soon Flores made his presence known, setting up Eddie for a devastating power bomb and roll-up. Juventud Guerrera tried to help Mysterio by attacking Eddie, only to hit the Masked Superstar with a springboard legdrop. The maneuver helped Eddie hit a frog-splash and get the pin. Post-match, a stunned Juvy watched Mysterio being adorned with the LWO T-shirt.

No Contest: Chavo Guerrero, Jr. vs. Scott Putski
During the match, Bam Bam Bigelow appeared backstage, screaming for Goldberg's head. When he couldn't find the Champ, the Beast from the East ran to the ring and obliterated both Chavo and Putski. Eric Bischoff, JJ Dillon and a slew of security tried to get Bigelow out-of-the-ring, but not before Goldberg charged the ring. A melee ensued, as Nitro went to commercial.

Saturn vs. Konnan
Pre-match, Saturn challenged K-Dogg, due to an incident that took place with the LWO a few weeks back. The Wolfpac member answered the challenge and fans watched two fan favorites exchange blows. During the match, the LWO surrounded the ring, interested in the outcome. Soon, the LWO made a move on Saturn to help Konnan, but K-Dogg still attacked the Luchadors. Angered, Saturn struck both Konnan and the Latino World Order. Post-match, Konnan and Saturn continued to tussle.

Bobby Duncum, Jr. d. Chris Jericho
TV Title Match
A 7-year veteran and a second generation wrestler, Dunum surprised Jericho with an impressive mix of power and Cruiserweight-esque speed. Unable to weaken the big cowboy, Jericho eventually just walked off, allowing the count-out, but keeping the belt.

Scott Hall clocks Eric Bischoff
After Hollywood Hogan made a few more election promises, Scott Hall and Eric Bischoff joined him in the ring. Hall confronted Bischoff, claiming the NWO mastermind had lost his focus, and then proceeded to knock Bischoff to the ground. Hogan then punched Hall and continued to beat him until Nash made the save. But instead of offering Hall another reconciliation, Nash glared at his former partner and told Hall to expect the worst on Sunday.

Chris Benoit d. Bret Hart
These two Calgary boys really heated up the room, throwing their best moves at each other, in an effort to claim Canadian supremacy (both men trained with the Hitman's father, Stu Hart). Benoit looked especially phenomenal in his return to action but, due to referee interference, got caught with a groin shot and subsequent chair shots to the elbow. Malenko made the save, but then was also attacked by Hart, who started working over the Iceman's leg. Enter DDP. Recovered from his own Hart attack, Page pummeled the Hitman mercilessly. Page then informed the crowd that he would finish the job at WW3.

No Contest: Goldberg vs. Bam Bam Bigelow
During Goldberg's elaborate entrance, Bigelow jumped the undefeated marvel and took the fight to the concrete. The Champ and The Beast threw furniture at each other and swapped punches and kicks without either taking an advantage. Security tried to get the match in the ring so it could officially start, but were unsuccessful.

Thuder REPORT: GLACIER def. CHRIS ADAMS
Glacier was all energy, battering Chris Adams with a series of right-hands, then a flurry of kicks. Adams countered with a belly-to-back suplex, then a bunch of punches. Adams added a perfect jack-knife powerbomb, then splattered Glacier with a cryonic kick. Enter Sonny Onoo. The Japanese manager came to ringside, informed referee Mickey Jay that Glacier's foot was under the rope. When Adams broke the pinning attempt, Ernest Miller nailed him off the top rope. Glacier's nerve submission hold then led to the win.

KENNY KAOS def. KENDALL WINDHAM
When the action spilled outside the ring, Kendall Windham suffered the most. Kenny Kaos splattered Windham on the steel steps. Kaos then delivered a series of left-handed blows, followed by a suplex and a powerslam. Kaos' springboard clothesline led to the victory.

STEVIE RAY (With SCOTT NORTON, HORACE HOGAN and VINCENT) def. JERRY FLYNN
Stevie Ray had little trouble with martial arts master Jerry Flynn and to make matters worse, Horace Hogan choked Flynn on the apron. Later, Vincent and Scott Norton added some abuse. Stevie Ray caught Flynn with a series of kicks, then finished him off with the Slap Jack.

REY MYSTERIO, JR. def. JUVENTUD GUERRERA, In Overtime. At Stake: Winner Receives Cruiserweight Championship Match At World War 3.
After a cordial handshake pre-match, the two luchadors went full-force. Mysterio punched Guerrera. Guerrera answered with a series of chops. Mysterio's head-scissors slowed Guerrera. He then drilled Guerrera in the corner. Guerrera's spinning leg attack silenced Mysterio. Mysterio scored a series of two- counts. Mysterio missed a mighty splash in the corner. Guerrera's brainbuster led to a two-count. The time-limit expired, but referee Charles Robinson demanded the match continue due to its significance. That's when Mysterio missed a top-rope senton, but still was able to land a two-count. Juvi Driver. But when Guerrera went to the top for the 450-splash, Mysterio tripped his foe. Mysterio won via the huracanrana.

KIDMAN vs. CHAVO GUERRERO, JR. (With PEPE)
The gameplan was a good one for Chavo Guerrero Jr., but the champion proved too strong. Kidman stomped Guerrero into the mat. Guerrero dropkicked Kidman, while holding Pepe no less. Kidman's cross-body block off the top rope led to a two-count. Kidman's powerbomb led to a two-count. Guerrero bulldog. Enter the Latino World Order (LWO), then Rey Mysterio, Jr. Referee Billy Silverman was forced to throw out the contest.

DEAN MALENKO def. KANYON (With RAVEN) By DQ
Both battlers were high-energy for 10-plus minutes. Kanyon delivered a perfect vertical suplex. Malenko countered numerous holds. Kanyon slammed Malenko, but missed a nose-dive off the top rope. Kanyon's kneelift sent Malenko outside the ring. Raven left the ringside area. Malenko countered Kanyon's Flatliner. Kanyon scored a two-count. Texas Cloverleaf attempted. Enter Lodi. Enter Chris Benoit.

WWF NewZ
Raw REPORT: RAW Results
(November 23 from Columbus, Ohio)

Mr. McMahon promised on Sunday Night Heat that he would name a new "independent, free thinking" commissioner on RAW, and he did just that at the very beginning of RAW. After telling the fans that the McMahon family does everything for them, he brought out the "new sheriff"-the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels! The only superstar in World Wrestling Federation history to hold the Intercontinental, European, Tag Team and Federation Title, the "showstoppa" promised, "I guarantee you that things will never, ever be the same again." He immediately booked his first match--The Rock vs. X-Pac for the Federation Championship later on RAW!

The Insane Clown Posse was supposed to step into the ring against the Headbangers, but just before the match the ICP said they weren't ready and asked the Oddities to take their place. So Kurrgan and Golga stepped into the ring against the former Tag Team Champions, but it turned out to be a set up. The ICP distracted the referee, allowing the 'Bangers to double team Golga and get the win. Then the ICP sprayed paint in the eyes of all the members of the Oddities, and teamed up with the Headbangers to cut Luna's hair! Mosh grabbed the microphone and said, "There's no right way, there's no wrong way, there's only the Headbanger way! Now it's our turn to kick a little ass"!

After weeks of attacks, Steve Blackman finally got the chance to face the Blue Blazer one on one. The Lethal Weapon finished off the masked superstar with a thrust kick, and then he tried to pull off the mask. However, he was attacked from behind by Owen Hart, proving that the Calgary native is not the Blazer--or at least he wasn't this week.

In tag team action, Gangrel and Edge from the Brood took on D'Lo Brown and Mark Henry. Just like last week, Chyna came out, completely distracting the World's Strongest Man, who was immediately rolled up and pinned. Henry had asked her on a date last week, "no sex involved", saying that if she accepted, he would dismiss his sexual harassment lawsuit. This week, Chyna had a microphone and said simply, "Ok Mark, I'll do it"! Henry reacted like a 5-year-old on Christmas, dancing and jumping up and down at the announcement of the upcoming date.

Next up, two superstars with woman problems faced off, as Goldust took on "Marvelous" Marc Mero, who had dumped Jacqueline just 24 hours before on HEAT. During the match, Jacqueline and Terri Runnels came down to ringside. As Goldust set up Mero for the Shattered Dreams, Jacqueline snuck up behind and nailed the Bizarre One with a low blow. Then Terri came in and hit Mero with the Shattered Dreams! The two women gave each other a high five and walked away satisfied.

In a match ordered by Mr. McMahon, Mankind put the Hardcore Championship on the line in a "Triple Threat Match" that in reality was a glorified Handicap Match against two members of Team Corporate, Ken Shamrock and the Big Boss Man. Shamrock and Boss Man teamed up to give Mankind yet another beating of a lifetime as Shane and Mr. McMahon looked on gleefully. But just when the owners walked away thinking that things were well in hand, Al Snow, Scorpio and Bob Holly came through the crowd! As Scorpio and Holly attended to the Boss Man outside the ring, Al Snow assaulted Shamrock with Head inside the ring, and Mankind got the pin! The McMahons were irate, and after the match Boss Man and Shamrock continued to beat on the Hardcore Champion.

Stone Cold Steve Austin collapsed during a match Sunday afternoon in San Jose, California, apparently as a result of the Undertaker hitting him in the head with a shovel on RAW last week. At the hospital, the medical staff had already given the Rattlesnake sleeping pills to make sure he got a good night sleep. Somehow, the Undertaker and Paul Bearer found Austin, and they attacked him right in the hospital, sedated him and dragged him away!

In what was sure to be an easy win for the Light Heavyweight Champion, Christian took on Duane Gill. Gill, who JR described as a "perennial preliminary competitor" was Mankind's first-round opponent at the Survivor Series tournament. Christian could have won the match at just about anytime, but he refused to go for the cover. Suddenly out of the crowd, the J.O.B. Squad arrived! Scorpio nailed Christian as the referee was distracted, and rolled an unconscious Gill onto the champion. The referee counted to three and, in perhaps the biggest upset in Federation history, Duane Gill became the new World Wrestling Federation Light Heavyweight Champion!

Back in San Jose, Undertaker and Paul Bearer had stuffed the former Federation Champion into the hearse and driven to a local graveyard. Apparently the Reaper was set to bury the Rattlesnake alive! Stone Cold started to wake but Bearer and Undertaker put him back under. This apparently angered the Man from the Dark Side, who decided that being buried alive would be too good for the Rattlesnake. Instead, they decided to embalm him alive!

At the arena, The Godfather, with the hos, was scheduled to face Tiger Ali Singh. But Steven Regal came out and warned the wealthy Indian not to trust the Pimp. Regal and Singh double teamed The Godfather, but Val Venis came out and made it a two-on-two confrontation. After officials broke up the four superstars, Val and the Pimp walked off together with the hos.

The Tag Team Champions of the World, the New Age Outlaws, faced off against Scorpio and Bob Holly of the J.O.B. Squad in a non-title match. Perhaps returning the favor from earlier, Mankind came out with the leaf blower he was going to give Mr. McMahon and pummeled Mr. Ass, allowing the J.O.B. Squad to get the pin! After the match, the Big Boss Man and Ken Shamrock came out and joined forces, at least for the time being, with the Outlaws in a battle with the J.O.B. Squad and Mankind.

Meanwhile, the Undertaker and Paul Bearer had arrived at a funeral parlor and were set to embalm Stone Cold Steve Austin alive. The Undertaker went into a trance-like state and started speaking in tongues, but just in the nick of time Kane came in and attacked the Undertaker. Stone Cold Steve Austin, though unconscious, must have realized what was going on because he woke up and got away!

The first match ever ordered by Commissioner Shawn Michaels, The Rock versus X-Pac, was up next, and the title was on the line. Before the match got underway, Michaels came out and ordered Shamrock, Boss Man and the Outlaws back to the locker room. The Rock went outside the ring and grabbed a steel chair, but Michaels came in, then hit X-Pac himself! The champion then finished him off with the Corporate Elbow, and Michaels, the McMahons and The Rock celebrated while Shamrock and Boss Man assaulted the Outlaws, who had come down to the ring to help X-Pac.

Heat RESULTS: Immediately after Sunday Night Heat began, Mr. McMahon came out with Team Corporate and made three major announcements. First he said that at Rock Bottom: In Your House, December 13 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, The Rock will defend the World Wrestling Federation Championship against Mankind. Mr. McMahon also said that when the Undertaker nearly decapitated Stone Cold Steve Austin with a shovel on RAW, it gave him an idea: the owner would allow the Rattlesnake into the Royal Rumble, but only if he could defeat the Undertaker in a Buried Alive Match at Rock Bottom. Finally, Mr. McMahon said that he wanted to prove wrong the fans who believe he holds too much power by naming an "independent, free thinking, new WWF commissioner" on RAW.

As HEAT returned from commercial break, Michael Cole received word that during Stone Cold Steve Austin's match earlier in the afternoon in San Jose, the Rattlesnake blacked out and had to be taken to a local hospital. Apparently we will get an update on his condition on RAW.

In the ring, the Hardy Boyz took on Too Much in tag team action, and just as the match got underway, the Jackyl came down to the commentator's area and introduced the "Acolytes"--Faarooq and Bradshaw--who immediately assaulted all four superstars in the ring.

The next match featured Gangrel, accompanied by the Brood, against Al Snow, accompanied by the J.O.B. Squad. Gangrel planted Snow with the high-impact DDT, but Bob Holly pulled Gangrel out as he went for the three count. All six superstars brawled in and out of the ring, and the referee threw the match out.

After the commercial, it was time for "Marvelous" Marc Mero to take on the corporate enforcer, the Big Boss Man. As the match progressed, it looked as if Jacqueline tried to trip the Boss Man, but she grabbed Mero's leg instead! The Boss Man grabbed the Marvelous One, planted him and covered him. After the match, an irate Mero told Jacqueline that he brought her in to take care of Sable, but lately it was Sable that was taking care of her. He also said that Jacqueline had just cost him his last match, and that he was dumping her! He dropped the microphone and walked away.

Next up, the Hardcore Champion Mankind came to the ring with a leaf blower. Mankind said he had been saving the leaf blower to give to Mr. McMahon as a Father's Day gift, but now the owner wasn't going to get it because the Deranged One was "divorcing himself" from the family. The McMahons, Shane and Vince, came out and said that "love hurts" and to prove that, they were forcing Mankind to defend his Hardcore Title in a Triple Threat Match on RAW against Ken Shamrock and the Big Boss Man.

The new World Wrestling Federation Women's Champion, Sable, joined Michael Cole and Jim Ross for commentary for the next match: Jeff Jarrett, with Debra McMichael, against Kurrgan, with the Oddities and the Insane Clown Posse. When the referee turned his attention to the ICP and the Oddities, who had gotten into a verbal scuffle outside, Debra McMichael distracted Kurrgan inside the ring until Jarrett broke his guitar over the 7-foot monster's head! The referee came back in and Jarrett got the pin! An angry Sable left the commentator's table and got into a yelling match with Debra McMichael until Jarrett pulled his valet away.

The Intercontinental Championship was on the line as Ken Shamrock took on Val Venis. Shamrock slapped on his patented ankle-lock submission hold, but Mankind came out with the leaf blower and nailed the World's Most Dangerous Man! Then the Big Boss Man came out and assaulted Mankind with the nightstick. Shamrock recovered, and as the show came to and end, the two members of Team Corporate double teamed him!
